SOURCING RESOURCES

A clearer brief. A better starting point.

Practical sourcing guides to help you prepare specifications, drawings and product enquiries.

01 · Prepare your enquiry

A concise brief helps us understand the requirement and identify the information that still needs to be discussed.

  • Identify the product area and describe the intended application.
  • Include the required quantity and unit, plus the delivery country or city.
  • Share a preferred schedule and explain whether it is fixed or flexible.
  • List any documentation you need to review before deciding on a purchase.

02 · Share drawings & specifications

When available, attach the information that defines your requirement to the email or WhatsApp message.

  • Use the latest drawing revision and show dimensions, units and connection details clearly.
  • Include a reference datasheet or product photo, while explaining which details are essential.
  • State requirements supplied by your project or technical team; avoid relying on an illustrative image alone.
  • Remove confidential details that you are not authorised to share.

03 · Review the supply scope

Before moving forward, make sure both sides are discussing the same product and scope.

  • Confirm the product description, requested specification and quantity.
  • Identify technical points and documentation that still require review.
  • Discuss destination, packaging and delivery responsibilities as part of the quotation.
  • Keep the agreed specification and quotation together so that revisions can be checked.
